Sales of “Morocco, The Country We Love” in Favor of Abandoned Children

A group of famous Moroccan public figures; athletes, and politicians, celebrated the ‘Ouyoun Aïcha’ NGO by offering the sales of the book “Morocco, the Country we Love” of its author Ahlam Jabbar.

The book, which is published in French by the publishing house “Première ligne” and produced in collaboration with the Maghreb Press Agency, brings into view huge amount of testimonies from people who contributed in making the today’s Morocco over its different historical periods. Respectively, they are sharing some of their points of view, thoughts, and memories about the history of Morocco, and how they are standing all together today for one purpose which is the issue of educating abandoned children living in the southern region of Morocco.

The book encompasses 60 Moroccan personalities who act in different domains like Abderahman El Yousfi, Aziz Akhnoush, Mostafa Bakouri, Fatiha Beniss, Salah Eddin Mezwar, Salwa Belkziz, Abas Azouzi, Abderafii Zwiten, Nadia Salah, Mohammed Selhami, Nadia Largit, Youness Boumehdi, Nour Edin Ayoush, Mustapha Mellouk, and many other social and political figures.

On this occasion, a public auction took place to sell some of the artistic paintings signed by children in order to help and promote initiatives and activities addressed towards children. It is worth mentioning that “Oyuun Aysha” NGO has always helped  talented kids in need to complete and better realize their artistic works.
