Tennis: Moroccan Adam Moundir wins the ITF tournament in Jounieh

Adam Moundir beat number one seeded Frenchman Corentin Denolly by two sets to 0 (6-3 / 6-3) in the final of the Jounieh tournament in Lebanon, which has just ended. This $25,000 tournament is part of a series of tournaments organized under the supervision of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Corentin Denolly, who was the favorite to win his fourth trophy of the year, lost to Adam Moundir, who played the big game and won the final with flying colors in 1 hour and 25 minutes.

In the semi-final, Adam Moundir defeated Lithuanian Laurynas Grigelis by two sets to one (0-6 / 7-6 / 6-3).

A Moroccan-Swiss national, Adam Moundir is 529th in the ATP ranking. He is also 551st in the double ranking of 551, which was reached on August 12, 2019. Moundir represented Morocco at the Davis Cup.
