Nabil Touaizi, from Manchester City, was added to Morocco’s team for the friendly matches against Libya and Gabon in October.

The 18-year-old striker, who is part of City’s Elite Development Squad, played for Spain in the under-17 category.

He is eligible for the exchange of national allegiances to Morocco, his parents’ country of origin.

Touaizi has been in contact with the Moroccan Football Federation over the past two months to ensure that all necessary documents are completed.

He is now ready to join the Atlas Lions training camp, which will include two international friendly matches against Libya on October 11 and Gabon four days later.

The young striker joined the English champions in 2017 from the Spanish club Valencia.
