Rabbi Pinto in Essaouira and Casablanca

Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto’s followers and disciples are meeting him on Thursday, November 28 in Essaouira to celebrate Roch Hodech Kislev in the presence of a large number of Jews who will flock to Morocco from all over the world.

The rabbi will give a Torah lecture at Rabbi Haïm Pinto’s residence in Essaouira, before going to Casablanca to celebrate Shabbat.

Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto’s followers and disciples will be able to meet him and attend his precious courses on Friday and Saturday at the “Le Grand Mogador” hotel in Casablanca.

The Rabbi, who lives between Morocco and the United States of America and is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, takes advantage of Jewish holidays and religious events to meet his followers and invite them to visit Morocco, their country and that of their ancestors, particularly after being appointed President of the Rabbinical Court in Bel-El in Casablanca, in the presence of the Jewish community established in Morocco and representatives of the Moroccan public authorities.

Yoshiyahu Pinto comes from a family of notorious rabbis. He is the descendant of the late Rabbi Haïm Pinto, a Jewish miracle worker and religious respected by all the inhabitants of Essaouira, Jews and Muslims. His maternal grandfather is Rabbi Israel Abehassera, known as Baba Salé.

The Moroccan rabbi is known for creating many Yeshuvah Torah schools, as well as for his many charitable works in Morocco, the United States and other parts of the world.
