The Minister of Equipment, of Transport, Logistics and Water stated that 552 radars will soon be installed throughout the Kingdom.
Abdelkader Amara made this announcement in his speech on channel 2M, as part of the program “Mine ajli al hayat”, last Tuesday. The installation of these radars aims to reduce by 50% the number of accidents by 2026, assured the minister.
“We had noticed that the presence of radars on the roads has the beneficial effect of reducing the number of accidents,” Abdelkader Amara stressed.
The minister also noted with regret that the traffic accidents that occur on the highways are serious and dramatic. Their number is higher on these good quality and well-maintained communication roads.
