Coronavirus: The Government Has Been Tested, here Are the Results

Good news for members of the Moroccan government. They tested negative for Coronavirus, the head of government’s department announced Sunday evening.

In a statement, the head of government’s department stressed that “immediately after the publication of the results of the tests which confirmed that one of the members of the executive was contaminated by the Coronavirus, the members of the government were subjected to the detailed medical examinations”, specifying that all the results were negative.

The members of the Government are in good health and carry out their duties in a normal manner in full compliance with the principles and measures in force, the same source adds.

It should be recalled that the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, has been contaminated by the Coronavirus, announced Saturday evening a press release from his department.

After his return from an official mission in European countries, and after having felt an abnormal tiredness accompanied by headaches, the minister presented himself to the medical services which submitted him to the necessary examinations and analyses which confirmed his contamination by the new Coronavirus (Covid 19), specifies the press release.

Given that the symptoms presented by the Minister are minor and do not cause any concern, and in accordance with the instructions of doctors, the Minister will remain at home for 14 days, and will carry out his usual duties using all technological means that allow him to work remotely, while taking the necessary health precautions, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health, adds the same source.
