His Majesty King Mohammed VI expressed his congratulations to Evariste Ndayishimiye following his election as President of the Republic of Burundi.
In this message, the Sovereign wishes Ndayishimiye all the best in the accomplishment of his high functions.
“Your election reflects the confidence placed in You by the brotherly Burundian people to realize their aspirations for more progress and prosperity, in a peaceful and stable manner,” wrote the King.
On this occasion, the Sovereign is delighted with the excellent friendly relations between Morocco and the Republic of Burundi, expressing his firm determination to work with President Ndayishimiye to expand the areas of bilateral cooperation in the service of the two countries and the African continent.
