Hakim Ziyech had his first-ever training session with Chelsea on Thursday, just a few days after officially joining the team.
Chelsea are in a good position to finish in the top four in the standings as they have only two games left to play. This would open the door to another Champions League adventure for Ziyech next season.
The Moroccan international won’t be able to play until the start of next season – both in the Premier League and the Champions League – but he is beginning to adjust to his new team. Chelsea’s official twitter account has posted footage of the player training with his new team-mates and coaches.
Although the start of the 2020-21 season has been postponed by at least a month, until mid-September. Ziyech has been out of action since March due to the early cancellation of the Dutch league and will need extra effort compared to others to get back in shape.
