The Arrival of Bencharki and Ounajem to Cairo Has Been Postponed

The Moroccan duo from Zamalek, Achraf Bencharki and Mohamed Ounajem, were unable to catch their flight to Cairo, scheduled for Saturday. The trip of the two Zamalek players has been postponed for 48 hours.

They were supposed to take a flight from Casablanca to Dubai and then to Cairo on Saturday, however, Achraf Bencharki and Mohamed Ounajem were unable to travel.

Zamalek reported the delay on Sunday, explaining that their trip would have to be postponed for 48 hours due to administrative formalities to be completed.

Upon arrival, the former Wydadis will join Patrice Carteron’s group in Alexandria, where preparations for the resumption of the local league are ongoing.

Bencharki and Oujanem have been in Morocco since last March. They returned after the announcement that football in Egypt had been shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
