France: Cases of Covid-19 in a Moroccan Consulate

Three cases of Covid-19 were detected at the Moroccan consulate in Pontoise, northwest of Paris. As a result, the consulate announced the suspension of its activities for a few days.

“After detecting 3 positive cases of Covid-19 among the staff, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Pontoise informs Moroccan citizens and users established in its Consular District that it has been decided to reorganize the granting of consular services on a provisional basis until September 15, 2020. Thus, the delivery of passports, Cnie, civil status and notary acts are maintained at the Consulate headquarters,” reads the statement.

He added: “Other urgent services will be provided by the Consulate General in Colombes. All consular services will be provided at the Consulate’s headquarters from September 16, 2020. The Consulate General thanks all Moroccan citizens and the users established in the District for their understanding of this decision, which responds to the concern of preserving the health of all users and staff in accordance with the health protocol in force”.
