ADM: The crisis has had a direct impact on motorway traffic

Motorway traffic in Morocco decreased by 32% during the first half of this year, directly impacted by the health crisis linked to the pandemic of the new coronavirus (covid-19), according to the Moroccan National Motorway Company (ADM).

“The traffic containment and restriction measures that accompanied the covid-19 health crisis had a direct impact on motorway traffic and consequently on ADM’s revenues and cash flow. The first half of the year 2020 resulted in a 32% drop in motorway traffic and a 29% drop in toll revenues, i.e. a loss of MAD 437 million in revenues at the end of June 2020 compared to the same periods of the year 2019,” the same source said in a press release.
