The Launch of a Direct Air Link between Morocco and Israel in 3 Months and Discussions on a Record Number of Weekly Flights

Officials of the two largest airlines in Israel announced the beginning of the development of direct flights between Morocco and Israel.

The directors of El Al and Israir, pioneers in the field of air transport, said that obtaining the important authorizations and completing the necessary preparations for the air link will take some time. They expect the operation to start next spring.

According to Hebrew media reports, the planned flights to link Morocco and Israel will be a record number, estimating that there will be more than 20 flights per week.

These developments follow the announcement by the two countries to normalize their relations, under the supervision of the United States.
