The government has decided to undertake preventive measures following the recommendations of the Scientific and Technical Commission. This decision was taken in consideration of the need to reinforce the state of health emergency, and to continue to apply the necessary measures to fight against Covid-19. This health emergency state will start on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 21:00, for 3 weeks.
The government said in a statement on Monday that these measures are related to:
1. The closure of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets at 20h.
2. Daily curfew at the national level from 21h to 6h, except in emergencies.
3. Prohibition of public and private parties and gatherings.
4. Complete closure of restaurants during the 3 weeks, in Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir and Tangier.
The press release specified that all the measures previously announced are still maintained.
