E-commerce: a platform dedicated to craft professionals

At the initiative of the Moroccan Association of the Purchasing Community (AMCA), the Azemmour Craftsman’s House has launched an e-commerce platform (www.maison-artisanat.com) dedicated to the promotion and marketing of craft products.

The result of a partnership between the Regional Committee for Human Development of the province of El Jadida, the Provincial Directorate of Crafts, the AMCA and the “Maan Azemmour” association, this e-commerce site, says the AMCA, aims to promote, market and distribute the products of the craftsmen who are beneficiaries of the projects of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) in the region of El Jadida. ‎

At the kick-off of this digital platform, which crowned the efforts made to set it up, the association’s role as an important partner guaranteeing the continuity of this socially-oriented project was highlighted. ‎

In fact, by virtue of a partnership agreement, OMAC undertakes, among other things, to place all announcements and advertisements relating to craft products, presented by the monitoring and evaluation committee of this project, within the OMAC members’ forum, in addition to promoting all the new products of the craftsmen at preferential prices in favour of the members. ‎

It is also a question of reserving a space for the digital display of the products of the artisans who benefit from INDH projects in the province of El Jadida, within the framework of the annual fair organised by the association. ‎

OMAC is also committed to enabling artisans to participate in shopping workshops organised by the association, while offering them personalised training. ‎
