Morocco’s first digital vaccinodrome inaugurated in Nouaceur

Located in the Errahma district on an area of 2,200 m2, this digital vaccinodrome aims to vaccinate 3,000 to 4,000 people per day.

The Ministry of Health launched on Wednesday in the province of Nouaceur the first digital and integrated vaccination centre in Morocco as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to manage the Coronavirus epidemic and to accelerate the pace of the national vaccination campaign against Covid-19.

This centre will allow the digitalisation of the entire vaccination process through a QR code system that allows the traceability of citizens throughout the vaccination circuit, from registration, through screening and monitoring the rhythm of the vaccination process on a daily basis. In this way, the data allows an analysis of the number of patients screened, vaccinated and treated, as well as the duration of each operation.

It also has a number of features that make it a fully controlled environment with intelligent sensors that allow for the control of the vaccine cold chain, as well as the supervision, management and analysis of medical, environmental and logistical data.

The creation of this project will reinforce Morocco’s image as a model in the exemplary management of the Covid-19 pandemic and its effects, and will also consolidate the Kingdom’s ambition to achieve a unique health sovereignty by developing a smarter and more innovative health system.

In a statement to the press, the provincial delegate of the Ministry of Health in Nouaceur, Mohamed Jalal Benchekroun, said on this occasion that this centre is the first of its kind at the national level.

He also recalled that the centre provides a screening for Covid-19 before vaccination.
