The National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco (BNRM) has decided to close its doors due to the epidemiological situation in the country.
A statement from the institution said that as part of the preventive measures taken by the authorities, and to preserve the safety of visitors and contain the spread of the virus, BNRM has decided to close its doors from Wednesday 4 August 2021.
The press release adds that the legal deposit service is not affected by this decision, and that a date for the reopening will be announced later.
