A third dose of the covid-19 vaccine will be administered as part of the national vaccination campaign, the Ministry of Health announced Friday.
“Following the recommendations of the national scientific committee and international scientific recommendations, a third dose of the anti-covid-19 vaccine will be administered as part of the national vaccination campaign, which has been experiencing positive momentum and broad citizen interaction since its start,” the Ministry said in a statement.
The procedures and modalities for the third dose, as well as the targeted categories, will be communicated at a later date, the Ministry explains.
Given the importance of strengthening immunity among all Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco and protecting themselves and their families from contamination, they are called to join this operation, the same source said.
The Ministry calls on everyone to respect the instructions of the public health authorities and to continue to strictly observe the preventive measures before and after vaccination to contribute to the national effort to contain this virus in Morocco and progress towards collective immunity.
