Covid: World Cup shooting sports to be held in Rabat cancelled

The Royal Moroccan Shooting Sports Federation (FRMTS) has announced the cancellation of the Shotgun World Cup, scheduled to take place in Rabat next February, in compliance with measures taken by the Moroccan government to combat the spread of the Omicron variant.

The decision to cancel the World Cup also comes “due to the impossibility of organising this international event given the decision to suspend flights, which has made the postponement of the World Cup an obvious choice,” the FRMTS said in a statement sent to MAP on Saturday.
