Casablanca Hosts the Spain-Morocco Investment and Business Forum

The city of Casablanca will host the Spain-Morocco Investment and Business Forum tomorrow, July 2, 2019. Objective is to contribute to the strengthening of economic and trade relations between Morocco and Spain. 50 companies will travel to Morocco to explore investment opportunities in several sectors such as the automotive industry, transport infrastructure, renewable energy, water, agricultural technologies, agri-food industry, educational services or the tourism sector. On the menu are two plenary sessions, B2B meetings, training sessions…

This important meeting will be attended by The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain, Reyes Maroto, the Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicrafts and Social Economy, Mohammed Sajid, the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of Morocco, Rakiya Eddarhem, as well as the President of the Casablanca-Settat Region and President and CEO of Masen, Mustapha Bakkoury.

As a reminder, the Spain-Morocco Investment and Business Forum is organized by the Spanish State Secretariat of Commerce, through ICEX Spain Export and Investments and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Offices in Casablanca and Rabat, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), and the Chamber of Commerce in Spain.

The official partners of this Forum are also the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and the Digital Economy and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
