Wydad Casablanca (WAC) introduced its new coach Juan Carlos Garrido on Tuesday, taking over the reins from Frenchman Sebastien Desabre.
The WAC announced on its official page that the Spanish coach will begin his duties on Tuesday and will attend the first training session at the Bouznika training camp to prepare for Saturday’s match against Najm Sahel.
“My adventure ends today with Wydad. I’m proud to have answered the president’s call to come and help the club during this transitional period. I’m Wydadi and I’ll always be there to give everything to this club. It was truly a choice of the heart. The WAC fans deserve titles and victories. I thank them for their support,” said Sebastien Desabre.
WAC will meet Najm Sahel in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on Saturday. The match will take place at the Mohammed V complex at 8pm.
