Three clubs are currently keeping an eye on the Selim Amallah. Valencia, Schalke 04 and, above all, Newcastle are looking to bring in the Moroccan midfielder from Standard Liege.
The latter club, which is being bought by a Saudi investment fund, “really likes” the player, according to the Belgian press. And Amallah is not against a Premier League experience.
The 2019-2020 season has been full of exciting developments for the Atlas Lion. In his first season with Standard, he became the most effective player (9 goals and 6 assists in all competitions combined).
He also experienced Europe at its finest: he scored a goal against Frankfurt and then scored again against Arsenal in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.
In November, he became a Moroccan international after being invited to play for Morocco by Vahid Halilhodzic.
