Loubna Abidar was strongly criticized by the Egyptian lawyer Amir Nassif after he defended individual freedom in Arab cinema during his appearance on a TV program.
In a video on her Facebook account, the Moroccan actress reported that she had been accused and insulted by the lawyer on several occasions. “He believes that I encourage Egypt’s youth to engage in sexual immorality and that my roles in the cinema are very audacious. I want you to know that I’m not interested in your young people. Take the example of Moroccan lawyers. They respect individual freedom,” she said. Loubna Abidar also announced that she will never take part in an Egyptian series or film.
It should be noted that the controversial actress has been married, since May 2019, to a Moroccan-Egyptian businessman.
