On 12 May 2015, Bayern played host to Barça in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final. In the seventh minute of the game, Benatia jumped higher than everyone else and headed a fine goal, opening the scoring for his team who won 3-2.
On Friday 14 August, the former Bavarian player posted the video of his goal on his Instagram account with the following comment “Remember. Good luck”.
Medhi Benatia played for Bayern from 2014 to 2016. He played for the Bavarian club in 46 games and scored three goals, including this one, which remains arguably one of his finest goals.
