A low-cost airline from the Emirates to launch flights to Israel at the end of the month

The low cost, low-cost airline from the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, will launch its flight route to Israel from 26 November, the company announced.

The company will operate 14 flights per week, i.e. two flights per day, on the Ben Gurion – Dubai Airport route. Reservations on the company’s website are already open.

It was announced that Air Arabia, based in Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Aviation Group have joined forces to launch a new low-cost airline based at Abu Dhabi airport, which will be the fifth airline to operate from the UAE after Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia, serving 9.5 million residents.

The new carrier will target the low-cost travel market segment in the Middle East region and complement Etihad Airways, said a press release issued last week.

Etihad and Air Arabia currently operate a combined fleet of 162 aircraft, of which 109 by the former and 53 by the latter. Indian airline SpiceJet announced today that it has decided to make Ras Al Khaimah its hub and that it also plans to launch an airline to be based at RAK International Airport.  It will operate five flights a week and aims to gradually increase the frequency of its flights.
