Royal Air Maroc and the Israeli airline EL AL have just signed a cooperation protocol (MoU) aiming at governing their relations in order to offer the best services to their customers.
On the sidelines of the 77th General Assembly of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), held recently in Boston, RAM and the Israeli airline EL AL have signed a cooperation agreement with a view to intensifying services between Israel and Morocco.
Royal Air Maroc explains in the press release announcing this agreement that the two signatory companies intend to operate air transport services between the two countries through their two respective hubs, namely Mohammed V airport in Casablanca and Ben Gourion
international airport in Tel Aviv.
The Moroccan national airline reveals that it is preparing to launch, soon and as soon as the general conditions allow it, a direct air route between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.
According to the same source, the signing of this memorandum of understanding will allow the two companies to explore the possibility of concluding a Codeshare partnership on direct routes operated between the Kingdom of Morocco and Israel, as well as on the routes of their networks beyond their respective hubs.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of RAM, Hamid Addou and Avigal SOREQ, CEO of EL AL
