In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,802,531, that of people who have received two doses amounts to 23,280,368, while 6,233,295 people have had three injections of the vaccine.
The new record of infections brings to 1,164,700 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,148,225, representing a recovery rate of 98.6%. The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Marrakech-Safi (12), Casablanca-Settat (08), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (06), Oriental (03) and Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (01).
The total number of deaths is still 16,065 (case fatality 1.4%), with zero cases in the last 24 hours. The active cases are 410, while 02 serious cases were recorded during the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 11. As for the occupancy rate of resuscitation beds, it is 0.2%.
