Military cooperation: Morocco strengthens its ties with African countries

In order to study the modalities of FAR support to the Alioune Blondin Beye Peacekeeping School (EMPABB), a reference institution in peace promotion, a Malian delegation chaired by the Director of the said School, Colonel Souleymane Sangaré, made a working visit to Morocco from March 23 to 25, 2022.

Moroccan-Malian bilateral relations in the fields of peace and security are strengthening. At the end of the works of the visit, which a working meeting was held at the Administration of National Defense and the General Staff of the FAR, both parties have expressed their willingness to collaborate in the fields of scientific research and training.

This cooperation takes the form of multi-faceted support to the EMPABB’s Sahelo-Saharan Analysis and Research Center, whose mission is to enrich the culture of peace by identifying events that affect the stability of the region and by seeking solutions.

According to the FAR magazine, the program of this collaboration also includes assistance in the creation of a magazine of the School, and the accompaniment by the Royal Armed Forces of its publication through the participation of military experts and professors of the CREMS and other Moroccan institutions in the work of its management, editorial and scientific committee.
