Coronavirus counter: 1,076 new cases, more than 6.47 million people have received three doses of vaccine

In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,841,757, that of people who have received two doses amounts to 23,324,309, while 6,477,163 people have had three injections of the vaccine.

The new record of infections brings to 1,175,104 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,153,505, representing a recovery rate of 98.2%.

The new cases of infection were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (451), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (343), Marrakech-Safi (126), Souss-Massa (37), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (36), Draâ-Tafilalet (36), Fez-Meknes (29), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (08), Oriental (06), Guelmim-Oued Noun (03) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01). The total number of deaths is still 16,082 (case fatality 1.4%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

The active cases are 5,517 while the severe or critical cases have reached 10 in the last 24 hours, bringing their total to 30. As for the occupancy rate of the resuscitation beds, it stands at 0.6%.
