Morocco has obtained the possibility to export to the 27 EU Member States poultry meat products. A significant agreement, given the size of the market 🇪🇺 of 450 million consumers. The regulation applies with immediate effect, announced on Twitter the EU ambassador to Morocco, Patricia Llombart.
With a production of about 13.4 million tons per year, Europe is one of the world’s leading producers of poultry meat.
“The measures taken take effect immediately, concluding a long regulatory process to ensure compliance with the sanitary requirements applicable in the EU. Moreover, given the large economic size of the European market and its proximity to Morocco, this decision could have a positive impact on the Moroccan poultry production sector,” the EU published on its official website.
