In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of primary vaccinated reached 24,891,254, those who received two doses amounted to 23,383,906, while 6,748,963 people had three injections of the vaccine. The number of people who received the fourth dose is 38,846.
The new record of infections brings to 1,264,286 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,247,539, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%.
The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (23), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (08), Oriental (06), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (05), Marrakech-Safi (04), Fez-Meknes (02) and Souss-Massa (01).
The total number of deaths is still 16,271 (case fatality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
The active cases are 476 while the severe or critical cases have reached one case in the last 24 hours, bringing their total to 17. As for the occupancy rate of the resuscitation beds, it stands at 0.3%.
