Covid figures in Morocco: the results of this Friday, September 16

A total of 12 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) and 18 recoveries have been recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, said Friday the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.

In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of primary vaccinated reached 24,900,883, that of people who received two doses amounted to 23,395,091, while 6,788,816 people had three injections of the vaccine and 46,262 received the fourth dose.

The new record of infections brings to 1,264,743 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has increased to 1,248,305, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%.

The new cases of infection were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (09), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (02) and Oriental (01).

The total number of deaths is still 16,276 (lethality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

The active cases are 162 while the severe or critical cases are 06, no case has been reported in the last 24 hours. As for the occupancy rate of resuscitation beds, it is 0.11%.
