Hakim Ziyech must think about the post-Chelsea era, according to Rafael Van der Vaart

Despite the arrival of Graham Potter at the head of Chelsea, it seems that this does not solve the situation of Hakim Ziyech with the club. The Moroccan international is still unable to take off with the Blues.

Former Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart shared his views on the English club. For him, the recruitment of Graham Potter is not necessarily synonymous with a positive evolution of the team.

In a statement to the website Ziggo Sport, quoted by Team Talk, the former Tottenham midfielder took Hakim Ziyech as an example, to explain what is wrong with Chelsea. “It is normal that he is not smiling. He is not fulfilled,” said Van der Vaart about the Moroccan international, who was not a starter in the game under Potter.

“I hope he manages to find a team he can play with, without having to worry about anything. When you have Ziyech in your team, you have to play him all the time,” added van der Vaart.
