On Monday, January 16, a meeting took place between the special representative of the President of Russia for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Moroccan ambassador in Moscow, Lotfi Bouchaara, we learn in a statement published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The current issues of the progressive development of Russian-Moroccan relations, traditionally friendly, were at the heart of discussions during this meeting held in Moscow. In addition, the parties discussed the maintenance of active political dialogue on the issue of resolving the remaining problems in the Middle East and North Africa on the basis of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
Note that the two states have agreed in October 2022, an agreement on cooperation in the field of the use of atomic energy for peaceful purposes, according to an announcement made by the Russian agency TASS.
