Essaouira: MOGA Festival announces its first names

Between the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador golf & Spa, which will host the IN program, and the whole city of Essaouira, which will be the scene of the OFF program from October 4, MOGA returns with a heterogeneous experiential program that is now part of its DNA, combining music, wellness, art, talks…, we learn in a press release from the organizers.

The first festival artists to play at the Sofitel, from October 6 to 8, are confirmed with the participation of Dyed Soundorom, Shkoon, Rhadoo, Jayda G, Margaret Dygas, tINI, A Guy Called Gerald, Maurice Fulton, Fumiya Tanaka, Taylah Elaine, Guedra Guedra, Amnaye, among others.

Following the growing success of its Portuguese edition, which took place from May 31 to June 4 and drew almost 15,000 people (compared with 10,000 in 2022) to the beaches of Costa da Caparica, MOGA Essaouira is preparing to welcome 16,000 festival-goers over 5 days, 30% of whom are foreigners.

The MOGA community now includes over 30 nationalities, who come together twice a year between Morocco (Moroccan edition in early October) and Portugal (Portuguese edition in early June) to discover, share and experiment. Discovering artists, but also discovering a place, the city and the local culture, always at the heart of the MOGA concept.

On October 4 and 5, Essaouira will host a two-day OFF program of free and ticketed events at various Souiris
venues, including workshops, yoga classes and a concert at the Sqala. On Friday October 6, Saturday October 7 and Sunday October 8, the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador golf & Spa will once again host the three-day festival, with no less than 5 stages set up on its property and a line-up mixing Moroccan, Portuguese and international artists.
