Migration: Four Moroccans die in an attempt to reach the Canary Islands

The shipwreck occurred some 60 km north of the town of Dakhla, and the victims are from Tighassalin in Khénifra, aged between 21 and 48.

The exact number of people on board the boat, as well as the number of survivors and missing persons, is still unknown.

As a reminder, last Friday, six Moroccans drowned while attempting to reach Spain from the Mediterranean coast in the province of Nador, after their boat capsized with 54 people, 48 of whom managed to reach the shore.
