Adil Rami

Adil Rami was born on 27 December 1985 in Bastia. He became passionate about football as a child and flew to Frejus, where he trained at the Fréjus Sports Star. 

At the same time, he worked a municipal agent at the Fréjus town hall. In 2006, he was spotted by Lille OSC, who offered him the opportunity to join their team. The following year, he became a professional footballer without even having been in a training center. While he initially spent his time in the reserve team, his first steps on the field allowed him to stand out as one of the best defenders. Two years later, Zenit St Petersburg tried to recruit him but, despite the €14 million offered by the club, he preferred to stay in Lille. 

In 2011, he took off and joined the Valencia CF club, where he quickly established himself and soon became a star of the field. But in 2013, the new coach was displeased with his statements . The following year, he left the club to join AC Milan. In parallel, he was also making his debut in the French team as he is on Raymond Domenech’s list of selected players during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers. His performance in the field allowed him to be selected for the French Team by Laurent Blanc and Didier Deschamps. In 2016, he became a holder at the Euro 2016. In June 2018, he was selected by Didier Deschamps to play in the World Cup in Russia. On July 15, 2018, the French team won the Football World Cup in Russia against Croatia.

On the private side, Adil Rami was the companion of the model Sidonie Biémont. The couple has two children, twins Zayn and Madi, born in September 2016. But a few months later they split up. In February 2018, during an interview, actress Pamela Anderson confessed her love story with Adil Rami, who she met in May 2017. On June 25, 2019, she announced her termination with Adil Rami on her Instagram account.
