Maître Gims and his Friends Set Jemaa El Fna on Fire

Maître Gims and his friends managed to create a sensation in the ochre city at the end of the year by hosting an unforgettable concert on Sunday evening at the mythical Jemaa Fna square on the occasion of the 3rd edition of “Stars in the place”.

This 3rd edition kept all its promises by succeeding in transforming the famous square into a space of sharing, fraternity and tolerance between peoples and generations.

The tremendous success of this year’s concert, Maître Gims owes it to the judicious and meticulous choice of artists, who are the most requested by Moroccan music lovers at the moment: the Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan, Dadju, Lartiste, Aminux and L7or, artists, who made a point of celebrating the end of the year with the Moroccan public.

This tempting poster succeeded in satisfying the tastes of music lovers, especially young people, from all parts of the ochre city and various Moroccan cities but also foreign tourists.

During this concert, the artists, who were present, offered a colorful evening rich in emotions and thrilled the audience to the rhythm of a unique and unforgettable evening with a great staging set up by professionals from the world of entertainment.

For nearly three hours, the public and the artists sang in unison about Peace, Love and Fraternity.

A grandiose concert that lived up to the international cultural influence of the Ochre City.

In a statement to the press before the beginning of this concert, Maître Gims said he was very happy to meet the Moroccan public and to participate in this 3rd edition of “Stars In The Place”, after having also been present at the two previous editions.

This artist of Congolese origin was pleased with the growing popular success of the “Stars In The Place” concert, which is blowing out its third edition this year.

“I am happy that this project is so successful,” he said, considering that this annual cultural event has nothing to envy the major international artistic events.

“The organization of this event is also our way of expressing to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and all Moroccans our love for Morocco and its people, and our willingness to contribute to the great economic and social dynamics of our country,” he added.

For his part, Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan said he was very proud and honored to perform in Marrakech and Morocco, land of peace, where he regularly comes to host concerts.

The Moroccan public is known for its refined artistic taste, he added, pointing out that the great Egyptian artists of the Belle Epoque (Abdelhalim Hafez, Oum Khaltoum and Mohamed Abdelouahab among others) have always been well received and supported by the Moroccan public.

Organized by Lamalif Group, this annual artistic event, placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, has now become a must on the cultural scene of the ochre city.

Annual concert 100% free of charge, “Stars in The Place” is a concept carried by Maître Gims, who invites his artist friends to share their passion for Morocco and Marrakech.

Maître Gims, whose real name is Gandhi Djuna, is a rapper, singer and composer born in 1986 in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo).
