Younes Belhanda Angers his Bosses

Although he had agreed to leave Galatasaray, Younès Belhanda is not moving things forward. The Moroccan who is reportedly in negotiations with the Saudis of Al Ittihad Jeddah is said to have demanded a very high salary.

Having become undesirable at Galatasaray, Younes Belhanda is expected to leave the club during this winter mercato. The latest news from Turkey suggests that Atlas Lion have entered into negotiations with Saudi club Al Ittihad for a possible transfer.

The Turkish press reported on Sunday that no progress has been made between the two sides. Belhanda is reported to have demanded a high salary, but has not disclosed the amount he would have liked to receive. The Moroccan international has seen his request refused, reports the website Gunes, which states that Belhanda’s case has provoked great anger among Galatasaray’s managers.

Al Ittihad has been following Younès Belhanda for several months. The club had even made an offer of 7 million euros in January, but the club refused to let the Moroccan go. Galatasaray are now asking for no less than €10 million to let the 29-year-old midfielder go, whose contract runs until 2021.
