Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri, a member of Madrid club Leganes, is about to sign for FC Sevilla, one of the most important teams in the Spanish league, the specialist press reported on Thursday.
En-Nesyri would undergo a medical test on Thursday before signing a five-and-a-half year contract with the club coached by Julen Lopetegui, former coach of the Spanish national team and Real Madrid, the Spanish sports media reported on Thursday.
FC Sevilla, fourth in the Spanish league with 35 points and who will play against Real Madrid on Saturday, are expected to pay the Moroccan player’s release clause estimated at 20 million euros.
Having scored four goals this season with Leganés, En-Nesyri is one of the most expensive recruits in the history of the Madrid team. He joined Leganés from Malaga in return for more than five million euros.
