Nordin Amrabat Denies the Rumors of Departure

Al Nassr striker Nordin Amrabat spoke about his future amid much speculation in the Saudi press.

While insistent rumors in the Saudi press are sending him away from Al Nassr, Nordin Amrabat assures that this is not the case. Here is the message published by the 32-year-old attacker on his Twitter account:

“Salamaleikom, I’ve heard a lot of rumors about me. But as I promised earlier, I want to be the Saudi Arabian champion and win the Cup this season, inchallah. Always happy, always together @AlNassrFC”.

He leaves little room for doubt about his plans for the future. The rumors in question have arisen because of his close relationship with Turki Al Sheikh, the Saudi owner of Almeria club (Spanish second division).

It was in August 2018 that the Atlas Lion joined Al Nassr from Watford. With “Al Aalami”, Amrabat won the championship in 2019 and the Supercup in 2020. He is under contract until June 30, 2021.
