The Atlas Lion Adrien Regattin, who has notably been in Toulouse, France, will sign a contract with the American soccer club FC Cincinnati.
The midfielder was at the end of his contract with Turkish club Akhisarspor.
He is expected to sign in the coming hours after passing his medical tests. The player had been approached by Stade Malherbe Caen (French Ligue 2) but preferred to discover the American championship.
The Moroccan international, who played once with the Moroccan jersey, is known to have played for Toulouse between 2009 and 2016 (168 matches, 11 goals).
Regattin will not be the first Moroccan to play in the United States. MLS is known to have seen Mehdi Ballouchy, a child of Mohammedia, who shone at Colorado Rapids and New York City FC (where he played alongside Thierry Henry).
