Women’s football: Morocco Participates in the UNAF Tournament

The Moroccan women’s team will take part in the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament to be held in Tunisia from 12 to 23 February, as the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Friday.

For this purpose, the Atlas Lionesses will carry out a training course behind closed doors from 9 to 12 February 2020 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex of Maâmora in Salé, the FRMF said in a statement published on its website.

The national team won twice against its Tunisian counterpart in the double friendly confrontation held on 28 and 31 January. In the first match at the Boubker Ammar stadium in Salé, the Lionesses won by a score of 2-1, before beating the Tunisians in the second match (6-3), scheduled three days later at the municipal stadium of Témara.
