Another African Country Opens its Consulate in Laayoune

The Republic of Ivory Coast inaugurated Tuesday a Consulate General in Laayoune.

The opening ceremony of this consulate was presided over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Ivorian Minister of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad, Ally Coulibaly.

This is the fifth diplomatic representation inaugurated in Laâyoune, following the Consulate General of the Union of the Comoros, opened in December, and the Consulates General of Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe and the Central African Republic, inaugurated in January.
