Hakim Ziyech also had a thought for his mother, who, he said, had to work for several years to support the family after the father’s death.
Ajax have reached an agreement with Chelsea on the transfer of Hakim Ziyech to the English club. The transfer will take place next season. The clubs have agreed on a sum of 40 million euros, which could rise to 44 million euros with bonuses. Chelsea, coached by Lampard, have also made the transfer official.
Ziyech is under contract until 2022 with Ajax. The Moroccan international arrived in Amsterdam in 2016 from Twente in exchange for 11 million. Since then, he has played 159 matches, scored 48 goals and made 82 assists.
