Princess Lalla Zineb, president of the Moroccan League for Child Protection, received on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Lalla Meriem Center for children deprived of family in Rabat, Marc Nassif, President of the Renault Morocco Foundation and CEO of Renault Morocco Group and its staff.
During this event, Princess Lalla Zineb strongly praised the social and humanitarian action of the Renault Foundation and its valuable support to the improvement of the living conditions of these children, especially those in vulnerable and handicapped situations, according to a press release from the Moroccan League for Child Protection (LMPE). Recalling the role of the League in promoting actions to protect and supervise the residents of LMPE reception centers in the different regions of the Kingdom, the princess highlighted the efforts of actors and partners on behalf of beneficiaries and their active participation in the implementation of the League’s action plan and the realization of its social projects, highlights the statement, adding that these projects are aimed at extending the reception capacity of existing structures and improving the quality of services provided to the target population, in accordance with the guidelines of King Mohammed VI.
For his part, Nassif welcomed the League’s action in the field of protection and care of children without family, while thanking the princess for having associated the Renault Group Morocco in this humanitarian action. This action is part of its policy of social responsibility, corporate responsibility and patronage, focused on two central pillars: inclusion and the development of sustainable mobility solutions.
He also stressed that the provision of two commercial vehicles to the League is evidence of the particular interest of the Foundation and the Renault Group Morocco in the social actions carried out by national actors in favor of children in precarious situations. It should be noted that before being received by the Princess, Marc Nassif and the delegation accompanying him, visited the various services and reception structures of the Lalla Meriem center. Those in charge of the establishment gave them explanations on the process of admission and care of the residents, as well as the various services provided to the beneficiaries, under the supervision of qualified staff specialized in the field, the press release notes.
Nassif’s visit to the Lalla Meriem center follows the signing of a partnership agreement between the two parties, in which the Foundation offers the League two public transport vehicles, one of which is dedicated to transporting children with disabilities. Under the terms of this agreement, the Renault Foundation Morocco and the League are committed to working together to ensure support for aid and solidarity actions aimed at promoting mobility and improving the conditions of care for children without family protection, the press release concludes.
