Morocco at the Paris International Agricultural Show

The Paris International Agricultural Show (SIAP), opened its doors today at the Parc des Expositions Porte de Versailles, with the participation of Morocco for the eighth consecutive year.

The Show, which is in its 57th edition, was inaugurated by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

After a successful participation in the 2019 edition, Morocco is taking part, for the eighth consecutive year, in the 2020 edition of this international agricultural show.

Organized by the Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA) in the wake of the Green Morocco plan, Morocco’s participation is part of an ambitious strategy to promote local Moroccan products.

According to the ADA, some thirty Moroccan agricultural cooperatives came to Paris to exhibit nearly a hundred local products with a very high market value.

Coming from all regions of the Kingdom, these cooperatives represent more than 1,410 small farmers, including 489 women.
