The Groupement des Annonceurs du Maroc announces the program of the African Digital Summit 2020 edition. After a successful 4th edition bringing together more than 1700 participants and 46 high-level speakers, the African Digital Summit 2020 returns for a new edition to be held on 19 and 20 March 2020 at the Hyatt Regency in Casablanca, under the theme “When digital makes Africa shine, from competence to competitiveness”.
Five years after its launch by the Groupement des Annonceurs du Maroc (GAM), the 2020 edition is today the major annual meeting of marketing, communication, digital and media professionals.
The objectives assigned to this edition are to support advertisers in their digitalization, improve relations between the various actors, professionalize and structure the sector, contribute to the development of digital ecosystems and the digital economy in Africa and initiate structuring projects with added value for all stakeholders.
Youssef Cheikhi, President of the GAM announced on this occasion: “This year’s edition strengthens the continental and international influence of the summit through a concept combining networking and knowledge sharing. The event is designed for marketers and advertisers to accompany the rapid development and change that the digital world is experiencing in order to identify future digital developments to successfully transform them and better manage their marketing and communication strategies.”
A high-level session is scheduled, with keynotes and round tables led by high-level international speakers. Also for this year, the Digital Garden will be the space dedicated to innovative start-ups to facilitate their access to the market.
As a novelty, the edition will host the ADS Business Forum to enable useful networking between managers looking for solutions and experts. In addition, the ADS Executive Discussions will be a privileged moment to bring together renowned experts with managers in a restricted circle, thus facilitating exchanges.
The summit will also present the results of the 5th edition of the annual study on Digital Trends, which has become a reference in information technology (IT), which is entitled “Digital Trends Morocco 2020”.
Finally, the “Moroccan Digital Awards”, which aims to reward advertisers and brands that stand out in the field of digital in Morocco and aims to strengthen competitiveness in the digital market and promote a high level of excellence in practices. A jury of professionals, experts and opinion leaders will study the nominations to distinguish the winners.
