The finals of the African Champions League and the CAF Cup of Nations, originally scheduled for May, have been postponed indefinitely due to the spread of the Coronavirus, CAF said in a statement on Saturday.
“The finals of the Confederation Cup and the 2019/20 Champions League have been suspended until further notice,” CAF said in its statement.
The Cameroonian port city of Douala had been chosen to host the final of the Champions League on 29 May. As for the final of the Confederation Cup, it was to be played on 24 May at the Prince Moulay Abdallah stadium in Rabat.
“The new schedule will be communicated shortly after consultation with the various stakeholders,” CAF said.
