Eid Al Fitr: Royal Pardon for the Benefit of 483 People

To mark the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, His Majesty King Mohammed VI gave pardon to 483 people, some of whom are in custody and others at liberty, sentenced by various courts of the Kingdom, said a statement from the Ministry of Justice.

“On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr of this year 1441 H. – 2020 G, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, has decided to pardon a group of people punished by different courts in the Kingdom.”

These persons consist of 483 and are as follows:

-The beneficiaries of the Royal Pardon who are in detention are 378 detainees.

-The number of Royal Grace beneficiaries who are at liberty is 105.

-Pardoning the sentence of imprisonment for the benefit of 29 persons.

-Pardoning the sentence of imprisonment with maintenance of fine for the benefit of 16 persons.

-Pardoning the punishment of a fine for the benefit of 59 persons.

-Pardoning the sentence of imprisonment and fine for the benefit of one person.
