As Zamalek players continue their training at home, Patrice Carteron and his staff are thinking about the match against Raja in the Champions League semi-finals.
The French coach will have the opportunity to return to his former team, with whom he won the 2019 Africa Super Cup of Nations with a 2-1 win over Esperance de Tunis. Carteron is currently preparing a tactical analysis of his opponent. In particular, he is studying the Greens’ strong and weak points by watching their recent matches in the Botola and Champions League. The aim is to develop a strategy to properly handle this match.
Furthermore, Carteron has asked the administrative team to prepare a detailed report on some of Raja’s players, including captain Mohsine Moutouali, who could be the number one threat of Sellami’s men.
It should be remembered that the resumption date of the Champions League and the CAF Cup has not yet been decided. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has drawn up two possible options for finishing the 2019/2020 editions of the competition.
